Training
There are several options for you and your dog:
Group classes - I teach group classes at WOOFS dog training in Arlington Mon.-Thurs evening in Rally-O and Agility. This is in our lovely new heated and air-conditioned space.
I also teach private and small group (up to 5 people) lessons. All lessons are positive clicker-based methods using food or/and toys. This are in at Arlington (limited hours) or at our site in Lucketts Virginia, where we have an indoor and outdoor space. Private lessons are a great way to solve problems, jump start your agility careers, or brush up for the trial season. Often with privates, you will find a huge amount can get done in a short period of time. Cost is $50 per hour at Lucketts, or $75 per hour in our heated and air-conditioned Arlington.
I work with experienced competitors and people brand new to the sport!
I have taught dog agility for several years and titled multiple dogs to the highest levels of AKC, qualifed dogs for Nationals in multiple venues and so on. Working with cockers, Border collies and Ibizan hounds has given me great experience with typical and atypical breeds.
