If you get a piece of PVC get it cut into 5' lengths, you can take two step in electric fence poles
(see stick-in-the-ground weave poles)
You can use light string to tie the poles on, or binder clips clipped on to the fence poles to rest the PVC bar on.
You can use any two same sized objects as uprights - lawn chairs, concrete blocks, paint cans.
